Where to Go For Extravagant Tunica Shopping

You actually want to spend your money on something in Tunica, MS that does not involve a slot machine? Who can blame you? Gambling in the casinos is fun, but it doesn’t give you the same satisfaction that buying a sparkling (only slightly grotesquely overpriced) new outfit does!

What are some of the best places to shop outside those flashy casinos? Well, some of them are actually inside the casinos. For example, a wonderful Tunica outlet mall is located inside the Casino Factory Shoppes, which is in the Tunica Resorts area. This Tunica, MS outlet mall includes 40 individual stores that sell a variety of items. Here you can find quality clothing, collectibles from the area, souvenirs and a host of delicious snacks. Some of the notable stores in the mall include Broadway Fashions, Computek, Fragrance Outlet and Marsh Madness. Some of fashion’s biggest names are represented in the mall shopping section, including designer clothes for men, women and children.

The Tunica RiverPark Museum also has its own gift store, and here you can find museum collectibles, gifts and cultural crafts. The River Park museum has a variety of indoor and outdoor activities in addition to shopping, so it’s definitely worth a visit. The Tunica Museum, just a short distance from the RiverPark Museum, offers more cultural gifts in the forms of arts and crafts created by local artisans. There is a variety of shopping to be done here from souvenirs to mementos. This property is just 10 miles south of the resort area on the well known Highway 61.

Tunica shopping also includes local stores set up in and around the strip. On Main Street you can find Ann-Tiques as well as Alpha Commission Book Store, Williams Furniture, Clayton Furniture & Appliance and Buds n' Berries Embroidery. On Edwards Avenue you can find Betty's Flowers.

There is much to see and do in the great town of Tunica, MS. It’s easy to get so wrapped up in the casinos and luxurious amenities that you forget to see the rest of the town and surrounding communities. Even worse, it’s easy to become so distracted in your fun that you forget to take home a souvenir that commemorates your Tunica visit. Hit the shopping malls and stores early and gamble late. This is a welcoming town that has defied all logic in its success. From a ghost town to a national destination vacation-all in just a few years!
